Quick header install question!!!

So i was wondering that since im gonna be ordering race style headers am i gonna have to do anyhting with the AIR or EGR?? keep in mind my cars a 99 dont know if that makes a difference but i thought i read somewhere that it did.

Best thing to do is take out the EGR and AIR systems if you are getting race style headers... Your car will throw an SES code, but this can be turned off with a simple tune.

you can get those headers, youll actually drop about 20 pounds out of your car when you take that stuff off, so look at it that way to...

What about the EGR Fitting on the intake? How do you block that up?

I am helping work on my sons 2000 Z28.

Speed Inc. (www.ls1speed.com) makes a manifold block off plate that goes for $2 I believe.
