Default removing washer fluid tank?

i was thinking about removing the washer fluid tank to remove a little extra weight. plus, this might allow me to rig up a little better ram air from underneath the car. i just wasn't sure if there was any way i could get around the light in the guage cluster for the tank to be missing?

You will not have any light go off in your instrument panel, just drain it, disconnect the plug and fluid line and remove it from underneath the car. Be sure to plug up the fluid line so it won't get any debris in there just in case you plan to put the reservoir back in the future.

sounds good. i am not too concerned with the ram air. that was just more of an idea. i drive this car like a few hundred miles a year or so and it wont' see a cloudy day. i have no need for the washer tank and i wanted to clean up the engine bay. does this thing have to come out of the bottom or can it come out of the top of the car?

it must come out the bottom but it is no big deal. a couple plastic clips and it comes right out
