I had a magnaflow with stock y, cats, manifolds. Very quiet at idle and at cruise, woke up if you really punched it. Sounded awesome, but just way too queit for my tastes.

I have B&B cat back on my WS6. I really like to overall sound and I think the tips are one of the nicest looking.

Ditto, with stock headers it is fairly quiet, but sounds great!

Dynamat prob would work pretty well... might try it on mine, but depending on how much you use it could get heavy and add a lot of weight to our already heavy cars

My magnaflow made great power but was just too darn quiet with stock manifolds & cats . I really liked the Super Turbo as it was about as quiet as the Mag. at first but after a week or so was starting to really sound just right when it developed an internal rattle which I could not put up with. I think it also flows better than the Mag. Installed the Texas Rumbler today & ugh. Sounds terrible. Taking it off tomorrow. Really bad resonance inside & sounds like a 4 cylinder tractor with a busted muffler. Really disappointed after over $700.00 wasted. Will probably try the ULTRA-FLOW next.

Im suprised you think the LM2 is that bad. I have Kooks with catted Y through the LM2 and cant complain at all. I still thinks its fairly tame until you punch it or are in the high RPM's. With the stock mani's it was too quiet.

So you are running stock manifolds and Y-pipe?

Hooker will sound almost exactly like the stock exhaust.
Magnaflow will be a tad louder than the Hooker, but will still be quiet. Both are good choices if you want quiet cat-backs.
The other cat-backs that are louder will generally have a litttle drone associated with them, but I don't think that it is that big of a deal on an otherwise stock set-up. All a matter of taste, I guess.
