Help! Need Replacement Part Can anyone tell me if I can safely substitute the passanger A.I.R hose for a different one that is not factory? If not is there any other place that I can get this part other than the dealer and salvage yard?

Replacing the hose with the same size shouldn't be a problem - but don't know if there's a formed bend in it for your year? You don't want to restrict airflow cause it'll throw a code. You're talking about the hose that comes off the passenger side air check valve, right? They very rarely go bad, are you throwing a code or something?

The hose as a tear and is leaking, I have not thrown a code yet but I what to prevent one if I can.
Will this affect me in any way? I have noticed that my LTFT are very high at idle especially when I close the hood!
