I purchased a pair of O2 simulators from thunder racing. They have been working great for a while but now I am getting a fault code for bank 2 O2 sensor 2 no response. I am assuming that the O2 sim is going bad, does this happen often? Please help with advice, thanks.

 

I dont think its supper common but it does happen, what is the code number its throwing? Usually bank 2 is the passenger side and it usually says either Sensor 1 (front) or sensor 2 (rear)

 

It's Bank 2 Sensor 2. Is there any kind of warranty on those?

 

There is no warranty once the box has been opened if I remember reading it correctly.

 

what you can do is go and get the car tuned and delete the rear o2 codes. i right now have o2 sims on and plan on doing that as soon as one of them goes bad.

 

You should first swap bank 1 with bank 2 to see of the DTC code number changes. While you down there check that the little red LED is working properly.

 

good luck with the 02 sims i just got off the phone with thunder racing and they dont even make an 02 sim anymore said the epa cracked down and they stopped producing them. so i guess its just custom tunes now
