Best way to remove long tube from ORP

Best way to remove long tube from ORP It seems the longtube is rusted onto the orp, i have all the clamps loose and the the bolts in the middle off. How do i get this ORP of the header. I need to lower my header to get my passenger side head off. These are SLP Headers too. Is the only way to heat up where they connect together??

Re: Best way to remove long tube from ORP I just did the heads on mine and I have the SLP's too and the best thing I've found for breaking stuck parts loose is PB Blaster. It works better than W-D 40 or anything else, you can get it at Auto Zone or most parts stores. Then when you go to install use some anti-seize for the next time you want to pull them off.

Re: Best way to remove long tube from ORP Thanks guys, i swear i was about 2 seconds away yesterday from getting the sawzall. I need a day off from that nightmare. Probably start on it tomorrow again. Now the ORP should back into the catback some right???

Re: Best way to remove long tube from ORP Sorry to have to tell ya this but you'll have to loosen your exhaust hangers and your Y pipe support bolts and loosen the whole system so you have enough room to knock your Y pipe back to get yout orp to slide off and then you can drop your header, thats what I had to do but it wasn't that tough just get in the right frame of mind and take your time (good luck)
