Question about header install are the factory manifold bolts reuseable with headers?
also how many miles would the factory manifold gaskets last til they aren't reuseable?
just wanting to justify not buying a header install if I don't have to.

The gaskets aren't too expensive, so it's probably best to replace them when you do the install (even though I've reused them multiple times with no problems
).

Re: Question about header install The header bolts are not that expensive either. If you were in a bind i would reuse them but why? If you are going to spend the money for header's and take the time to install. Replace them both, and use the GM metal Gaskets. Short cuts like this can come back to haunt you with a LS1..
