Default Fast 90/90 Problems

I installed the 90/90 setup in a 01 ws6 and now on start up the car starts to rev up as if the throttle was wide open... So we pulled the manifold of to check if it wasn't seated properly and everything looks fine. throttle body is snug up against the manifold no gaps, all vacuum lines hooked up, map seens plugged in and still revs all the way up immediately after starting...

anybody els have this problem before??? any input would be helpfull

Did you replace the valley cover bolts?? If not there is a chance you cracked the bottom section of the 90/90. That would cause a leak that would otherwise go unnoticed.

did u by chance have to unlock the throttle cable to move it out of the way? when i did my head/cam swap last year i had to unhook it and give some slack to move the cable out of the way. then when i hooked it back up, i hadnt released all the tension, so i hooked it back up with the throttle open so to speak.

did you use the bolts that came with the fast or reuse your old ones?
