Default Your Opinion on Exhaust Options

I'm planning to install XS LT's Friday at a friend's shop. I've accummulated all the parts to make any of these options possible. The GMMG is currently on the car.

1. XS "Pacesetter style" 3" ORY to Hooker catback.
2. 3/2.5" reducers to 2.5" Carsound catted Y to Flowmaster merge to GMMG.
3. 3/2.5" reducers to 2.5" ORY to Flowmaster merge to Hooker.

I've ground down the merge on the XS Y somewhat for better flow. I won't run ORY with GMMG because of rasp and loudness. It's about as loud as I can take now with manifolds & cats. And I don't see any reason to run cats with the Hooker, as quiet as it is.

I think the 2.5" Y will make for better flow with the gradual stepdown and better merge, compared to the bottleneck of 3/3" --> 3". Your thoughts?

I'm sorry to interrupt your thread just I just ordered a set of XS's too and I was wondering do I need anything else before installing them? I think I need Bosch 13111's, maybe?
