suggestions on dumping cats
suggestions on dumping cats i have an 02 ta with stock manifolds and a borla exaust im looking to dump cats and do 02 sims my questions are one,what parts do i need, where can i get em, is it worth the cost for the gain, and how much gain will there be?
im guessing i need offroad pipes & 02 sims.if so which ones will bold up to my mainfolds and y pipe easily?

Re: suggestions on dumping cats I would say just gut them out, you'll see about the same gains without all the extra cash. There should be a few good threads to search for that give you an explanation of how to do it.
If you plan on running headers later on down the road you'll most likely need a new Y-pipe anyway and it's cheaper to get off road (no cats) pipes than catted ones.
