Default O2 sensor ?

I just installed QTP's to replace my Pacesetters. I need to drive it with open headers to the muffler shop. Do I risk damaging anything in doing this? I was told I could damage a O2 running open loop? It will be about a 1/2 hr. drive. I need advice as not to damage or incur added expense. Thanks

I used to drive around open headers all the time with no issues. Every once in a while I would get the SES lightt for a day or so. That was about it.

I would think that if you just pull the 02s it should just constantly run open loop, hence no damage to the 02s? Or is that observation totally fucked. BTW I don't think orangeapeel ever sleeps.

So if you have to drive around for a lil while with open headers, Do you need to pull the o2 sensors out or will it be ok to run with them in?

I'm not sure about the 02s, but i hear you mess up your compression if you run it too long, AKA a week or more. just so you know
