I searched on this and people are gapping them anywhere from 45 to 55. I split the difference and went 50.

generally speaking more gap=more power. Gap needs to tighten up when cylinder pressures get really high such as in blown and nitrous apps.

55. Larger gap = bigger spark = more complete burn.

i always heard that the more mods you've done to make the gap sequentially smaller. i "believe" it was something like an extra .005 less for every extra 50 rwhp? so if you're making 400 rwhp you should lower the gap from .055 to .045?

I would imagine with these wires you could run a larger gap... correct?

You can also run TR6s gapped between .035-.038 since you are heads/cam

Thats what I run, TR6 .036 gap. But since he has no intention of ever spraying I would stick with the 55's gapped at .040-.045

Mine are somewhere between .036-.038 I can't remember exactly. I've had TR6s in mine since Feb. but haven't sprayed it yet and she's been running great. I've only got two and a half more months before she's sprayed for the first time
