w/o listening to it, i am going to say it is your AIR pump. if it is the nose it is making. it is fine, strictly for emmissions....

Your links don't work for me, but I have a similar problem. Mine turned out to be the hole in my TB. The hole whistles sometimes and its especially noticeable when I shut of the car and it keeps going for a second or two. I havn't tried fixing it yet, but I was told to try and smooth the edges of the hole a little.

Links worked for me. Couldnt tell you what the noise, is, but it seems pretty responsive with the throttle.

One question... did you have your car painted? Red engine bay with a black car?

Im assuming this, but you're throwing an SES code because the air fitting emmissions deal has been removed.. due to different headers? My friend has shown me this noise on his car as well but i decided to remove/unplug my pump all-together, i think it's your secondary air pump... right in front of your drivers side wheel.. well actually... here.

That thing. I'd say just unplug it, people on the forums told me to "Yank that bitch" and since my friends car does the exact same thing, and he hasn't pulled it or done anything with it, i'd say that's your noise.

I love this place. I will check that.

Strange though..when they told me what codes it was giving at the shop..they did not mention any that referred to this piece. None the less..i will look at it today, and let you guys know. Thanks again!

Ok..i could not wait. I opened that panal in front of the wheel and found the air pump. There was a hose there that was going nowhere.. I assume that was hooked up before the header. I unplugged the wire..and the sound that was bugging me (sounded almost like i had a sueprcharger or something) was gone.

Thanks!!!
