Help with Y-pipe selection
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to see opinions. Currently I have SLP Loudmouth for my cat-back but want to add Kooks headers and Y-Pipe. Heres the question though: Do I go with their ORY or the Catted-Y...
I have plans for heads/cam in the future and I like it loud (LM doesnt hardly phase me anymore) but just wanted to see peoples opinions, especially if you live in VA. Sound clips are welcome and state why you voted the way you did please.
Thanks,
Jason

Thanks for the relplies so far!
"I have pacesetters, tsp catted y pipe with GMMG exhaust. I think catbacks sound better with cats, less rasp."
-yea this is what most have told me and why I am leaning towards the catted-y even though its a tad more expensive. Love the sound of your exhaust setup by the way.

-As to getting one made, the problem is I have not found ANY good exhaust shops right around where I live. I have been told about one up in MD I think but I am trying to cut down down time on the car considering it is a true DD/my only car. I figure I will just order the whole thing so its only down for a weekend while I get them installed and then later one when the car becomes pretty much just a track car I will get some true duals fabbed up routed over the axel out the back.
