Default Hooker cat-back system question

Hello, I am thinking about buying the hooker cat-back to replace my borla when I do my LT and TSP catted y installation. Anyways, I'm just wondering what size the tail pipes are where they connect to the muffler so I can buy band clamps to replace the c-clamps it comes with. I'm just looking for a more tame, different sound after I have LT's.

Its a 2.5" connection. I purchased the Walker brand clamps and they were too small, even though they stated they were for 2.5" OD/ID connections. I bought the Napa clamps (Torc Tite I think) and they worked great

just so you know it will be very quiet! i had the exact same setup slp lt's tsp catted y and hooker catback and it was as quiet as a stock one! i had to ditch the cats, sounds pretty good now.

Hooker is too tame with manifolds, great with LT/ORY

Alright, I'm going from stock manifolds, y, and borla to pacesetter LT and TSP catted y and hooker cat-back. Keep this in mind, I dont want a loud car, I want it to sound good, but I've had loud mustangs before and i'm looking for a more tame exhaust. I don't want it any louder that it is now with stock manifolds,y, and borla with a open plate. Is sounds good now, but I guess I just want a normal cat-back without the adjustibility. I would put a closed plate in but I want 2 fully functional tails. Hope I made the right choice, thanks guys

I got the hooker cat-back today, looks good. In the pipe that goes over the rear end there is a dent in it, looks it might be there for clearence or somthing, come somone confirm this please, its like a pacesetter y-pipe dent but not nearly as big.

I love mine. You can't hear the MS4 until its to late. Its loud like the video the guy posted when your into it but also super quiet when your cruising in high gear.

the hooker cat-back is probably one of the best sounding an cheapest cat-backs you can get, you won't be disappointed

I like mine pretty well. The cam made it a LOT louder, but overall its a quiet catback. Definately my favorite so far. I left the tips off of it because I didnt like them at all. But yeah, very cheap and very good flowing. There's a write up on it I did in my sig with videos.
