Default What is the size of this bolt?

Hey Guys,

I just ordered a PCV catch can and would like to know the size of the bolt that attaches the catch can to the heads. Attached is a pic with the bolt circled. I am going to run up to Lowe's but didn't want to go through the process of trial and error.

Thanks!

I think its somewhere btwn 13~16mm but I can't remember for sure.
I know I had bolts left over from misc part replacements Ive done that fit, so look through your extra bolts for one that might fit and bring it to the size finder at the hardware store.
You can always test thread it into the hole on the head since its so easy to get to.
I'd also wait till you get your can before you buy it though so you know how long you need it.
I remember mine needed to be longer than I would have thought to mount right, and I needed some washers for spacers.

I beleive that it would be 8x1.5 mm (if that is wrong, it will be 10x1.5mm) thread size.. Head size could be anything as DirtyJohn stated.

Thanks for the replies. I figured out the thread size. It is 7/16". I went for the trial and error approach at Lowe's. The length is around 1/2" but might be a little bit longer.
