The coolant helps morning start-up.That the only reason gm designed it that way, to help your motor warm up to temp as quickly as it can. Also its supposed to help fuel atomazation.

This has nothing to do with helping morning cold startup. There is no hot water immediately flowing through the TB to help with startup. This is just for stopping internal icing of the TB while the engine is running in very cold weather, nothing more.
