Crank pulley/spray/4.10's/heads/cam are all on the way. Dont really want to tune it right now, with all these mods going to be done in the next 4-6 mo's. I think maybe the sensor wasn't pluged in all the way or got bumped by something, i unplugged it, and plugged it back in, made sure it was on tight, and ses light stays off, and i scanned it while date streaming and the sensor was reading and the temp was going up. Car seems to be good, for now at least. Thanks, Chris

I'm installing a camshaft and supporting valvetrain upgrades this coming winter/spring and I'm getting tuned July 31st since I'll be installing my LS6 intake manifold tomorrow. I will only have to pay a small fraction of the price for a re-tune ($100). The normal price for a full dyno tune is $275. Good luck.

I wish i could get a decent tune for 275 bucks. I could get a mail order tune for like 150, but wont really do much for performance, just change little things hear and there. For a good tune in the chicago suburbs everyone wants 450-500. ANd if i were to get it retuned they would still want 400-500. Ive checked with all the big name shops around my area, and all the sponsors in my area.

Yeah I know the regular price is around $400-$500. If I had to pay that much I would only do it once.

As far as check engine codes are concerned, my car only threw cose P0405 and P0410 after installing my LS6 intake manifold yesterday.

Here are the descriptions of both codes:

Troubleshooting P0405:

The PCM has determined that the voltage signal from exhaust gas recirculation sensor "A" is too low for the current engine operating conditions.

Troubleshooting P0410:

The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the secondary air injection system.

I paid that much at first, but it's for the software, once they have your tune on file, it's only hourly. Shouldn't take more than an hour.

The 450-500 bucks, it's worth it, trust me.

I can tell you that your intake is correctly installed. Mine intake was taken off 2 times the 2 time when it was reinstalled, it was still doing the idle thing.(1 time by me and 1 time by my speed shop).
You just need a tune to get rid of that sign. But I still have the neutral idle problem even if I have a Diablo tune. HP tuners or LS1 edit would surely do better than mine and fix the idle problem.

Even with this little idle thing, It doesnt affect the ride's quality.

By the way, the idle will go down to 1100rpm when I'm completly stopped in neutral. It will stay at 2000rpm as long as I'm moving. So its not a big deal.

After i reinstalled my intake mani the problem was fixed. No more idle issues. Thanks for all the advice though guys. Chris
