heater hose fix exhaust hitting?
heater hose fix exhaust hitting? will heater hose pushed in between exhaust pipes and floorboard/under rear hatch fix any issues with exhaust hitting? If not what will and where can you find it? TIA
It's a lazy, crappy fix IMO. The best fix is to get the pipe redone so it fits properly and doesn't hit or clearance the pipe. If you jam something in there it's going to buzz something somewhere else.
Bring it back. I had a yahoo build me an exhaust and I brought it back several times to get some adjustments made at no cost. Then I got sick of sick of looking at his shoddy work and the dents he made and the crappy welds, I ripped it out and built my own.

It lessens the harshness of banging, but if it's in there tight, it creates a constant contact point between the exhaust and body, continously transmitting vibration. My next step in trying to resolve this problem is to pull the ds header and install a urethane motor mount.
