Ok, anyone with experience with...... ......P1133 and P1153 Ok sorry to make this thread but search kept giving me differing info. I have put headers and ory on my car recently and am getting P1133 and P1153. Both say "Manufacturer controlled fuel and air metering" Thats it, thats all my scanner tells me. It doesn't tell me whats wrong exactly but I assume because my ory has bungs for the rear O2's and I placed them in, it means the rear O2s realized there are no cats anymore. However please give my your opinions? Are these codes harmful? Do I need to fix or change anything or should I just drive the car like usual, like it is in perfect working order?
Those are your 2 front O2 sensors and yes you need to fix that. I suggest first making sure you have no exhaust leaks, and then replace your front sensors. The code is fue to inefficient switching of the sensors, which is kind of common when you get headers. I would go ahead and replace them with some Bosch 13111's since they do not require extensions.

car will run like crap, like brad said these front o2's determine alot of things in your car....when installing new exhaust you will usually burn out the o2s pretty fast because of the change in exhaust gasses....
Oh crap....that is not what I wanted to hear. Well, hmmm all I can say is there are most certainly air leaks where the headers connect to the y-pipe and I need to order band clamps to help seal them up. So should I just wait for this? Or I COULD switch my rear O2s with the front ones but I don't want those to die too cause I'd be **** out of luck.

delete the rears buy tuning or use sims.. then use the bosch 13111's. your car will run like crap if you keep it the way it is. you'll get surging and bad gas mileage... you're stock o2s are prob black as crap now.
Well that sucks for me greatly cause I've spent roughly $65 for O2 extensions and now you're saying they are useless to me cause I need the damn Bosch sensors. How come some people use extensions and the stock sensors? How do theirs work?
