A/C Question... Blowing cool...but not cold. Just vac'd and charged.

Drier was replaced... New one had sealed caps, that werent removed until I was ready to bolt the drier on. The desiccant inside is what removes moisture from the system, and if you leave it open, it will remove moisture from the atmosphere...and eventually "wear" it out.
Same with the evap coil. However I sealed the ends of that as soon as I removed it. I considered replacing the drier as a maintence type deal...so I didnt bother trying to seal it up.
All or most of the remaining moisture in the system should have been taken care of while it was pulled into a vacuum.
