Default Poly Motor Mounts Search is Down

I think I am going to put in some poly mounts to stop my headers from hitting. which ones do I need and where should I get them? How big of a PITA is it to install them too. should have done it during the H/C swap. thanks for the help.

I did mine with a Longtube install. Was worth it but definatly a PITA, if I must say!!! You may wait and do them w/ head and cam swap. I used the prothane mounts. You can get them from many of the vendors on here!

They are a huge PITA. I did mine at the time when I was replacing the clutch and installing headers. It is worth it after you're done, but don't expect it to be easy.

More like a "one in the chamber" PITA but like said, worth it.

I'm swapping out my headers next month and want to swap out the motor mounts at that time also.

Is it really such a PITA doing the mount swap, while the headers are off the car?

I did the motor mounts at the same time I did my headers. It does make it easier, but it still sucks. I also did it alone, on my back, so if you can get some one to help, that would be better too

...And I got the prothane's too

Prothane and yes it would be MUCH easier with the exhaust header off the car.

Good luck.
