Cam or M6 swap?
#22
Man DevilmonkeyWS6 your making me second guess doing the swap. But anyway if your anything like me and all you want is the M6 then go for it. I wanted a cammed car and did the stalled auto thing and didnt like it at all, sure it was fun from time to time. In traffic I felt like I was forcing my car to move and didnt like it.

yeah man I spent 1400 for the whole kit, with a steel 3-4 fork, pro 5.0, custom clutch, and aluminum driveshaft, only thing else I spent money on was the switches for the clutch pedal, oil of course, and a used PCM from a 98 M6 car. Think I spent 1600 total. And did the swap myself, with dad's help to line the tranny up, in 1.5 days. Took my time with breaks and everything, did it right, everything works as it should, runs great, and I have no regrets. You must have ran into a lot of problems when you did yours?
