Default LS6 intake modification

I searched and search blows so does anyone have the pic of what ribs to cut off the bottom of the LS6 intake? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean? Just buy the coolant lines for a 01+ Fbody.. if you are talking about shaving the bottom to use the stock '00 coolant lines.

Here ya go buddy. Im sticking w/ the stock cooling lines too. I just look at it as if its not broke, dont fix it. Just use a dremel and slowly wear them away to make sure you dont damage the bottom of the intake.

I used a very sharp wood chisel. If I had to do it over again, I would have just ground/sanded them all off before I painted my intake. After researching it here, I decided that plugging the back coolant ports was a bad idea.

Also, I think there is a TSB out that prescribes building a litte "dam" around the knock sensor hole plugs/boots with red RTV to keep water out. I diid not do that, but I did put some grease on the plug/boot to make a better seal with the valley cover.

Hmm I never thought of putting the red rtv on to help prevent water from getting in there. Thats going to be another little thing Ill do during my intake install.
