I love the way magnaflow sounds with LT's. Loud at WOT behind the car, but no cabin drone inside the car. I'm putting a cutout in the I-pipe just for those days that I want it to be really loud.

i was going to replace my LM1 with the magnaflow
but now i`m rethinking that.
i want something quiet myself, i have grown sick of my
obnoxiously loud exhaust.

I have the magnaflow, and I will say that it is really quiet, but louder than stock. I too did my research and am looking forward to the change when the LTs and Ory go on. Not to mention the H/C/I. Going to be just about right.

Having run Magnaflow and Flowmaster, I can say the MF much is quieter. It also flows much better. It will break in. The tone will get throatier and deeper. Mileage is subjective as to driving conditions. I tend to go WOT just going out for milk and eggs! If you Granny around, the break-in is gonna take a while. Personally, I beat on mine until something breaks and then upgrade.

^^^ wot runs F....T....W......
Ive been driving on mine for a few months now and it does seem to sound a bit different from when the day I bought it, maybe not louder, but different. A cutout is waiting to go on once the clamps and new y pipe merge gets here so I can change it up when needed.

My Magnaflow is on the quiet side too, I can listen to the radio or talk on the phone or passengers with no problem. Sounds great at WOT and no rasp at any RPM. Someone could pull up beside me and sound way meaner, but I think I'd get tired of hearing that loudness in my car pretty quickly.

Ok I have a 99ss m6,tsp ory, pace setter long tubes,ms4 cam,and the lm1,this set up was cool for a lil while but the cam just made it crazy loud,it sounds great outside the car and scream a wot,but I'm burned out on it,from what I have heard on here the magnaflow has a really nice sound,I will be running a magnaflow cat back into a cme,and having a cut out,the cut outs are really nice nice to have that option to stay under the radar,by far though when my car was stock the lm1 sounded the best,I hope the magnaflow sounds good on my car ,

if you guys what your mangaflow mufflers to be load then just start doing head/cam/header without cats. then your car will be plenty loud. I used to have the LM1 on my car when it was stock and it sounded perfect. then after doing the heads/cam/headers it sounded like a nascar. I put the magnaflow catback in and it was still to loud so i put a magnaflow bullet in the ipipe and now its just awesome and still flows like mad. i have dual oval cutouts in my ypipe from when i wana go racing
