I will have a 20,0XX mile LT1 radiator for my 1994 MN6 car available this fall if anyone is interested. I'm going with a custom Becool for my 454 LS7 install. Tis thingis in gerat shape. I had a window sceen/frame made when the car was new and placed it in front of the radiator to block out bugs and rocks, I just clean it out with compressed air, has kept it inVERY good shape wih coolant changes every other year 50/50 dexcool. -=MIke

What year is your car? Is there something you had to modify? Or is it just a drop in?
Mine is a 98, can I pick up no matter radiator from a 93-06 F-Body?

I checked the GM service manual and their description is pretty complicated.
They say to remove the whole assembly from the bottom... engine cooler, AC cooler and fan shroud
This means empty the AC system

Can you use the integrated trans cooler as an engine oil cooler? I already have external trans coolers. Could you just go to an autoparts store and get a radiator for a 95 Camaro?

I did my whole swap from the top. Just push the AC hoses out of the way to remove everything. I dont know about using the tans cooler as a oil cooler. I have no idea about the fans for an LT1 because I am using the procharger supplied fan for my application but I would think they are similar.

Little more update. I went to the track last night and the car temps never went over 190. With the LS1 radiator the temps use to be around 200 or more. I even let the car idle after the runs in the staging lanes and the temps never rose over 180. I am running a 160 thermostat. So I am really pleased with the results.

could you please provide a picture of what you did to block off the extra hole i believe at the bottom driverside of the radiator. I put an LS1 in my 96 and need to know this so that I can use my LT1 radiator on my car. Thanks.

Here is a real close up pick of what I used to block the hole off with. This is looking at it from directly below. It is the little nipple looking thing. I just put the rubber cap on there and used a clamp and went about my business.
