i have a loud mouth on my car. just make sure you put a set of cats on that exhaust otherwise it's gonna be damn loud. and make sure your willing to have all that noise in the car as well. it's not too bad up front but anytime i have people in the back they bitch like you wouldn't beleive. i am putting a set of longtubes on here in a few weeks. i will let you know how it sounds.

some have observed that adding headers with cats actually reduces the drone of the Loudmouth.

I got less drone with headers, but way more volume and rasp . After you clear the rasp it sounded bada$$. I had LT/ORY/LM. I switched to true duals and would never look back.

I had macs and a loudmouth. She was louder than holy hell. If I was to do it again that way, I'd get a bullet muffler.

I would do a searh on SLP headers b4 I bought them if I were you. You will find that the perfomance gains do not compete with the competition nor do the fitment issues.

I would not get the SLP's. I just saw a firehawk at the strip a few weeks ago and he had slp headers and a loud mouth. The thing didn't put down impressive numbers at all(I was rippin' better et's and traps with my stock ws6 w/ lid). I may have gotten a factory freak but he should have been able to keep up somewhat. That and it sounded like a wound up crotch rocket on steroids when he went down the strip. From other's experiences I would stay away from the SLP headers they seem to have a high dollar per horsepower ratio.....aka: ripoff.

I have SLP longtubes with the Loudmouth and no cats. It is bloody loud!! I'am also lowered with the prokit. The y-pipe hangs pretty low. But this combition is possible. I love my SLP lt's. No problems at all. Took 2 full days with friends to install them on jack stands and rhino ramps. If emissions isn't a problem save yourself the money at run em straight. My next mod is hearing aids.

I have SLP's as well, They are harder than probably all headers to put in but once they are in the fitment and finish is great. Performance wise we have all found that the SLP's are not as good as other headers, With heads and cam they are probably a good 10-15 hp less than the QTPs/Kooks, I am gonna have to swap mine out so I would recommend that you save the trouble and just get the Qtp's/Kooks so you don't have to do it twice, Also with the SLP's you still have to pay alot. Also instead of getting the Loudmouth you may consider an electric cutout or even the qtp dual cutout y, then you could have open headers at the flip of a switch and when the cops are around or when you are taking out your girl you can make it quiet. Anyways hope some of this helps.

You will hate the LM with headers. It sounds like pure ***. Extremely raspy and loud. I hope there aren't any cops in your area 'cuz they will give you a hard time about it. I'd suggest getting a different catback if you're going to run headers.

I think your barking up the wrong tree with the LM and headers. Changing to a different brand of headers isn't going to change anything. It's the LM itself. Combine that with headers and

Other than being slightly deeper in the lower revs and screaming above 3500, I didn't notice a huge difference in LM with catted LT's vs. stock manifolds volume wise. The key is to run cats. I've heard the LM with ORP and it does sound terrible. But with cats, I think the setup sounds damn good. Just IMO.
