Default '01 FLPs on '00 car

Is it possible to adapt FLP headers designed for an '01 car and make them work for an '00 car where you want to KEEP the EGR and AIR systems? Since the '01 headers don't have EGR provisions, I am wondering if this is possible.

Anything is possible.. but for ease of install, I would look for set with the tube already on them if you want to stick with EGR.

My suggestion, get a LS6 intake, use the 01 FLP's and ditch the EGR.

Unfortunately, I already have the investment into an LS6 intake with the EGR provision and I am not confident that I can pass our strick emissions w/o an EGR system anyways. I was hoping the '01 headers simply had a block off plate that could be removed.

Thanks for your advice.
