Default Just bought a clear MTI lid, problem?

I just installed an MTI Clear lid.
Buttoned it up, and got home to check everything out, and the clips that hold it on where off, and it had slid forward out of the tab holders..
what can I do to fix this??
is there a fix?

thanks

pretty much causes the lid to unbuckle itself. also ensure the lid is secured into the filter box

Wow, you really had to cut the plastic base out to get it to fit? I know it is different variables but I have the SLP bellows and lid and a Delphi 85mm MAF (and 3 3/4" ID sylicone coupler between the MAF and lid) and it makes "light" contact with the base but no nead to cut. I have no contact with the hood either.

I have a buddy with a wisper lid with the same problem, I am gonna try this mod out to see if it will fix his problem as well.

here are some pics.

this is where the MAf/lid was rubbing on the filter tray.

I made the cut as wide as the Maf is ,
and then I cut up on the filter tray untill it didnt touch the lid any longer
