Question Which way to go? Little help please...

Ok guys were currently working on an exhaust set-up for my friends 01 Trans Am. Everything from the manifolds back is stock. Were going with the pace setter longtubes, and probably the off road y. We were going to go with the slp cat-back due to one of my other friends gonna give it to us so cheap. (I know most of you dont like the lt's with slp.) But thats the way we were gonna go due to the cost. Unfortunately my friend decided to keep the slp for now so im stuck with what to go with after the y now. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated. Also fyi We would like to keep it as inexpensive as possible.

My Magnaflow sounds great and I believe it's <$500 shipped from most places. It also gets great reviews in terms of flow. I have Pacesetter LTs with the Pacesetter ORY. I wouldn't change the sound for the world. Pretty loud, but no overpowering, with just a hint of rasp because of the no-cats ORY. I also believe it is available with the single tips (like I have) or the twin-tips, which I think look way better coming through the slots of the Trans Am's rear.

Does the magnaflow set-up come with the y pipe? I've heard good things about the magnaflow? Also TSP Tru duals vs. Magnaflow cat back! Price, performance, and sound? Anyone

Don't know too much about the true duals. The Magnaflow does not come with a y-pipe. My Pacesetter ORY / Pacesetter headers fit pretty much perfectly. You can get them as a package through most places. I have no banging or clunking anywhere and the clearance is so great I can literally stand an entire soda can under the lowest part of the y-pipe. I used to have a TSP catted Y and it banged against the bottom of my car right under the driver's seat; plus it scraped a lot because there was very low clearance.
