No to Corsa and doesn't a chambered muffler flow less? Corsa sounds like crap IMO. To high of a tone for am American muscle car. Like I said true duals are trhe way to go if done right but TSP dumped isn't right. It's a cop magnet for sure same as the LM's but the resonance of having that exaust under your *** will get to you on long trips.

All depends on your tastes and tolerances.

^ Corsa sounds good on some cars, I like how it sounds. GMMG sounds pretty good with the stock manifolds, but when you get headers, its raspy as ****.

I've got Hooker LTs/cat-back and pacesetter y-pipe with cats ( ) and a cutout, and it sounds pretty damn good IMO. I'd like true duals, but its nice being able to close it up. Plus I'm gonna lower my car some.

I'd definitely go with duals, and if the bullets are too loud for you, hack them off and put some real mufflers on there. I wish I would have gone with duals on both of my Camaro's initially instead of catbacks and cutouts. Dumped exhausts aren't that bad, hell mine doesn't even have turndowns and it's not bad. I'm ure the bullets are a little different though

True Duals would've been my vote but the noise problem came to mind (you listed using bullets.) Yeah, you'd get a little more power but could sacrifice ground and or chassis clearance (unless you're okay with the thought of your floor better reshaped to accomidate the exhaust.) I voted Magnaflow because it's my understanding it makes great power, it sounds good, and is a good price.

JMHO.

Thanks for all the insight guys. I appreciate the help. Obviously tru duals is liked by the majority. What would sound best on tru duals. BulletsS, single chamber, or what else is there. And i like seeing some nice shiny tips out the back end so we'll probably end up running it out the back. Just with what mufflers? I know i can get on to LS1Sounds.com, im just looking for some good insight from guys who've went this route before. Thanks everyone.

Corsa here. Quite or at least reasonable at low rpms and NASCAR loud when you jump on it.

You're gonna bust on LT's and GMMG being raspy and you like the sound of a cut out?

The rasp in the GMMG is easily solvable with a 17" chamber after the Y..

I'd vote for GMMG...

TTT? What else are you looking for?

You have posed the question.. Have gotten a pretty good spread of opinions..

In the end man, you gotta buy what you want..

This is what I did.. I found clips of the exhaust I was looking at.. Got my wife to play the files randomly, so I would not have any idea which one I was listening to..

I wrote down the one I liked the best.. I then spun my chubby self around and ordered the one I liked..

You're not building a space shuttle.. You are picking an exhaust..

Is this thread acting weird for anyone else?

It keeps showing up on my "new replies thread" but nothing has changed?

True. Thanks for the replies and insight. I have some custom true duals on my car. This set-up were discussing is going on my buddies LS1. True duals is the way to go but he wants to be able to choose quiet and loud when he wants. So were gonna go with ory, corsa, and a cutout. Thanks everyone... Luckily my buddy's giving up the corsa for half the cost at retail. So we'll save money. The thing that sucks is he wants to keep the tips. But o well i really can't complain for getting it so cheap.

Not bad. Thanks Devilmonkey. I like the idea of running them threw the back. I like the way tips look out the back.

I love my GMMG... it has done me no wrong, and I'll be keeping it quite some time... now of course, if I buy a beater and stick the SS on weekend warrior status, that may change, but I'll buy something else to put the GMMG on

Anytime somebody votes on the poll, it bumps the thread up. So they don't have to type a reply, just vote. Vote for GMMG here though. Longtubes, CATTED Y PIPE, and a GMMG is awesome. Don't drop a bunch of coin on a GMMG and Longtubes headers, and try to get away with a cheap ORY and a bullet or something in the I-pipe. Yeah, Catted Y pipes are expensive, but you didn't skimp on the headers and catback, don't skimp on the Y.

I have the Bassani True Duals and am 100% satisfied with them. It is the best exhaust that I have heard yet IMO... Great Quality, Tight fit, and GREAT SOUND!!!! The only minus is the price, but I went with the Stainless.
