Just a Question on Dynomouth Exhaust.
Now that you have heard it, I now have a question for those who have it. Anyone have a under car picture of their set-up? I want this exhaust, I do know how loud it is, talked to a Z28 owner while starting his car, asked what he was running he said dynomouth. I said what the hell is that I have never heard it nor seen it before just then he reved to 4500rpm. I $hit my pants. So he gave me a website and we talked. An old woman got pissed and yelled at us so he reved the hell out of the engine it was funny, loud, and sounded great. This needs to be sold on the market. 1 billion times better than SLP Loudmouth. So please, Sound files, and pics if possible.
Try www.ls1info.com for some sound clips.
Then you will have a "BorlaMouth"
That's what I did with my 'Bird.Either with a Dynomax or a Borla in place of the resonator, it's a great way to tame the Loudmouth a bit and still have a great sounding exhaust!

It is a stock system with the muffler removed and straight pipe put in it's place. Then the Dynomax bullet (24222) was put in the I-pipe.
The sound is a little more refined than the LM, softer at idle, about the same at WOT. The stock tips sound great with the DM, but I did notice further improvement in the sound when I put my 3" slash tips on.
I think of it as an economy LM.
When the LM first came out, I thought it was a great idea, but didn't have the funds to buy one. So I thought it would be great to make my own. That is where it came from. A fellow LS1.commer came up with the Dynomouth name and it stuck. He was the first person to take a chance and do the mod soley on my word that it sounded great. For about a year or so after doing the mod I posted telling folks how inexpensive it was and how it sounded like no other cat-back, but no one took me seriously for that year. After one or two guys took a chance with it and posted on it, and the name was coined, folks that needed a low cost alternative started doing it.
So far many, many folks have done it... I have only seen one post that someone was disappointed with it.
You already have my site addy on the 2nd post in this thread, and it tells pretty much everything... but if you need anything else, let me know. (other than pics, no good camera... sorry)
Good luck
Dave

At idle, you can hardly tell there's a difference from stock, but at WOT...the gates of hell have been unleashed!!!
