v band clamps was the best choice. they dont leak and it lets me drop the y pipe in 2 minutes. they do take a bit of ground clearance away but ill deal with it. i can still get over speed bumps. my car is lowered a good bit on a stock ride height car it wouldnt be an issue at all. also the qtps' hang lower than most headers.

Nice setup. It fits very well within the SFC's.

I know you have not had the chance but let us know how much more power is gained with the cut out open. I think it wouldn't be too much more since the Corsa flows pretty well.

What exhaust are you running? That set up looks sweet with the QTP's and the Y is a masterpiece. The reason Im asking is the SLP Muffler on the Y, and If you are running a LM. Man I wish your buddy would go into production on those!

From what I can tell the LM resonator is used to quiet things down a bit since no cat's are in plase. It all feeds in to a Corsa catback. As long as it sounds good I think this is a very interesting setup.

I would like to see some before and after dyno numbers.

Sign me up for one, I'm sure many would buy a y-pipe that nice in a heartbeat. Looks many times better then even custom y-pipe made by my local exhaust shop. I love the fact you can drop the y-pipe so easily.

I would buy one in a heart beat. Ive been wanting to go TD for a while, but it is going to cost way too much to have done CORRECT. Im getting sick of my LM1, but this Y is awesome and clean.

So sign me up if you ever put these into production.

Badass... nice V-bands! Where'd you get yours, PM me if it's not a sponsor, when I pick up some ARH over winter I wanna do V-band, I'm sick of messing around with these slip fit things. Awesome welds btw.

Wow, that is an extremely nice Y-pipe. Makes my XS Y-pipe look like complete dog poo. I'll bet the fitment on that is real good too (no banging against the floorboard). About how much did it cost for the materials?
