My buddy has taylors and has no complaints. I've used msd's on both of my f-bodies. I would just go with the msd's.

IMO, as short as the wire are.. there will be very little voltage drop. Suggest you drop a email or call Taylor. Construction seem to be the most noticable different as well as the Boot.

409's discription:
A tightly woven, heat-treated fiberglass braid is applied over 100 percent pure silicone 8mm ignition wire. 100 percent silicone Pro Boots bonded to the wire, which features vibration-proof, double-spring locking plug terminals. The Sprio-Wound core is designed for use on multiple spark discharge systems, on-board computers, and electronic ignitions where RFI suppression is required.

50's description:
The 10.5mm wires use a ferrite spiral-wound core made with an exclusive copper/nickel alloy bonded by a conductive acrylic latex cover. Other features include a heat-treated fiberglass braid, a triple-silicone outer layer, and silicone boots.

Try a internet search next time to the manufactor web site or others.
