Default SLP LOUDMOUTH Install

ok i just bought the slp loudmouth for my 99 Z28 and i am wondering if this is an application i can do my self in my drive way or is it going to need some welding?? is it just a bolt on. i figure i'm goign to need to cut the pipe. but after that is it a bolt on ?

i would say go get it installed and welded. plus if you get it installed and have a leak in the future they will probably fix it for free.

yes its all bolton. No welding is needed and it shouldnt take more than 30 minutes to install

you dont have to cut the stock exhaust off, i ermoved it by dropping the axel and then pulling it out incase i ever had to install it again.

do not clamp it up, it will rattle like hell, and for the $35 i paid to get it welded in, its a better idea with a shop warranty.

do not clamp it up, it will rattle like hell,
i had my LM on foralmost a year and never had one single problem with it including rattling.

No rattles here either. Had shop do it, and the only welding they did, was spot weld the tips on so they wouldn't move.

My tips are spot welded, but after that it's just clamped. The only pain in the *** I ran into was removing the band clamp off the old I pipe. The morons at GM thought it'd be a great idea to go ahead and spot weld that SOB onto the I pipe. Since that clamp is still on the car and the old exhaust is not, you can guess who won. =)
