Default Random Tech Exhaust

Hey, Im new to the boards, since I just bought my TA, but I have been browsing them for a while now. Im finally glad to start posting now I have an LS1...Anyway...How does a Random Technology exhaust compare(performance, sound) to other exhausts such as an SLP Loudmouth which everyone seems to have. My mods(few) are listed in my sig. I can get a Random Tech exhaust second hand in great condition for a killer price and wanted to get some opinions. Thx, and I look forward to posting more.

I have Random tech on my 98z. It sounds good, no rasp, quiet until you get lead foot syndrome. Install was very simple, no major fitment issues or problems. I love the sound of it, and if you want more sound, just get a cut out, that's what I did.

I have it as well. Through LT's and cats it is very quiet at idle but really comes alive when you get on it above 3000 rpm. The only thing that I do not like about it are the exhaust tips. After 4 years they are starting to look really dull and dirty. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best way to clean or polish the tips?
