Thanks.

The hidden tip is just one of those things that I personally think looks so badass. It may look a little more odd on a Firebird, but I just don't like tips on Camaro's. Also, I probably won't see anyone around here with this setup. You can usually figure out what kind of exhaust is on the car by the tips, with my setup I'll have some guys scratching their heads.

PM sent No Juice.

mufflex made me a custom catted-y for my QTPs. they do excellent work and i like the fact that the owner (his name slipped me mind) got on his belly to look under my car and discuss options with me in the parking lot. and trust me, i'm not an easy customer to deal with. if you are in the tri-state area (NY, NJ, PA), go there. i'll take pics one day when my car is back from eastside.

I believe Denny is the owner. Great guy. I talked over the whole exhaust on the phone with him, gave me a solid estimate and had the car done in a day.

You mean in terms of the style of the catback/tip?

Looks great! That imo is the perfect exhaust system.

I had a 4 inch mufflex with hidden tip on my 95 with ATI blower. I am a little surprised they didnt extend the tailpipe slightly and then turn it down like they do on the 4 inch system. You couldn't see mine from the back and I would bet there would be a little less drone.

The shortened tip is what I wanted. I brought in a picture of MM98's car and he did exactly what I asked. It does have some drone but I knew it would.

yeah, its the most practical exhaust for these cars. Magnaflow makes a huge 3.5" oval muffler if you want it quieter

Ok, the video is up, the link is in the first post. If anyone can host it so it can play in Media Player or something let me know. The quality is horrible with You Tube but the sound is ok I guess. I wasn't able to really open it up, the parking lot was a lot smaller then I thought it was hah.

Here's the info on the title page that you can't see:

Grot 1-7/8 LT's
Custom Mufflex 3" ORY
Custom 3.5" Mufflex Catback
Magnaflow Race Series Muffler
Comp 'Hammer' Cam 222/222
