Which Headers?

Which Headers?
I am wondering if there is some fundamental difference in most header kits. What makes the SLP kit so expensive?
Right now i am leaning towards the SLP kit a Y pipe with High Flow cats but it is damn expensive compared to others. I see that is one of the top performing ingredients in the SLP 400HP PAC and i am wondering if anyone has experience with a different header, Y Pipe, High Flow cat combo that is less expensive well constructed and equal in performance.

Yea i have read that the slp ones hang down the most! so if your gonna drop the car then get anything but the SLP's.
I dunno how much snow you get or even if your car will see snow, but if you plan on driving it in the winter and/or have the money buy stainless steel Kooks or QTP. These are suppose to be the best. Otherwise if money is the issue a lot of people i know bought the pacesetters. Good buy for the money.
o yea and there are a milllion and one threads on wtb.

Is there any literature or comparisons with Dyno charts for each?
I want to use the SLP high flow cats as well the Pacesetter Y pipe has a flat spot like the stock one which i think must have a negative affect where the SLP Y pipe does not. Also i want to keep all of my existing emissions stuff intact. Can that be done with Pacesetters?

As for the Y pipe, I dont see where it would hurt performance at all. It has a flat spot on the top of the pipe, but the pipe seemed wider in that area to make up for it. The flat spot is mabey 1/4 in into the pipe. The stock pipe is flat on both ends, and small, so anything would be better than it is.

i just did a hooker header install, that one came out great. headers sliped in from having the car maybe 2ft off the ground, they looked quality and tuck very nice. they are also very similar in pricing as pacesetter from speed inc.
