Okay, my .02.

1) I have the loudmouth, and after I got it, it was to loud and raw sounding. I put the dynomax bullit in and it is much better. But if I had to do it again, I would go with the hooker catback. A deep throaty sound, and no rasp or drone. A very controlled sound, but roars at WOT.

2) iCAGS, definitely a must. Yes, the resister will work, but spend the $ and do it right. Saves a lot of four letter words when you want to shift to second, but the car MAKES you shift to 4th. I had my iCAGS before my car arrived.

3) As far as a lid goes, I've read only good about the new TSP lid. I have the SLP lid, and at first it was hard to fit up. But after some effort, you learn how it is supposed to fit, tight. I know there is no air loss with it on tight.

4) K&N, Holley powershot, all probably the same.

5) Do the SFC later. The first ride quality item you should buy is a Strut Tower Brace. Without a STB, the SFC's won't do as much good.

6) For the smooth bellow, SLP is coming out with a new style in late summer 03 that will be better than the current model. I'm waiting for that one.

Hope this helps, and have fun. Remember, once you start modding, it's hard to stop.

I HAVE AN SLP LID AND IT FITS FINE, BUT GOT A GOOD DEAL ON IT AND DID NOT CHECK OUT OTHERS, MY DEALERSHIP ALWAYS BITCHES ABOUT WARRANTY WORK WITH MODS SO SLP BUILT THE SS AND THE DEALERSHIP CAN KISS MY ***! IF YOU HAVE T TOPS YOU NEED SUBFRAMES! AND THE STRUT TOWER MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE ALSO. YOUR CAR WILL STOP TWISTING AND START MOVING. WHEN YOUR FRAME IS NICE AND TIGHT YOU CAN JUMP HILLS AND IT FEELS LIKE YOUR ON A MAGIC CARPET WHEN YOU LAND! AS FAR AS THE STRUT TOWER IS GO TO BMR AND GET A BLEMISHED ONE FOR LIKE $60 AND THEY SEND DECALS WITH IT AND PUT THE DECAL OVER THE BLEMISH! JUST MY TWO CENTS ON IT

I would skip the K&N, I just use a clean fram. I'd also skip the bellows...maybe do the fernco, but I've heard of that cracking lids...I have one, but took it off.

I'd go with !cags, yeah you can use a resistor, but ya hope it doesn't rust or something like that. Another good option would be to have it deleted via computer tune.

On the lid, I have the MTI lid, but the TSP wasn't out when I got it. I don't have problems with it.

One other thing; you could probably save yourself some money by ordering all of this stuff from one place, rather than pay shipping from 5 different companies.
I like my hooker catback over the LM, but that's really just an opinion.
