I've had both. The edelbrocks are better. I will be selling mine soon. They fit way better.

i had both as well. currently have Edelbrocks.
price difference isnt much. quality is drastically different between the 2 IMO. the Edelbrock y pipe is also much ...much nicer then Pacesetter!

go with the Edelbrocks.
just over $500 for a coated header and y pipe system. with everything needed

edelbrocks do make more power, have a very nice step design as well as a nice merge collector, just some things to consider

The argument of Edelbrocks vs. Pacesetter is as simple as "Made in the USA" vs. "Made in Mexico."

The Edelbrocks are a much better design, are a much more quality piece and will net you more power 100% of the time.

Ever see a picture of the Edelbrock headers vs. the Pacesetter headers? The Edelbrocks make the Pacesetters look like a toy. Someone made a thread with an Edelbrock header sitting next to a Pacesetter header and the difference blew everyone away. The Pacesetter was so tiny. I'd pull the thread, but the search is acting screwy and pulling me 1,700 pages of threads

I have the Coated Pacesetters and thought the quality was great. I did the install myself and had no problems. They are a nice looking header. I have no experince with the other but I don't think you will be disapointed with the coated Pacesetters.
