Nice setup. Just like mine except I have sweet thunders before they go over the axles. I also had them weld one of the pipes to my upper PHB so it wouldn't rattle to hell like it was. Oh well it isn't hurting anything.

Sound clip. I know I'm asking trade secrets but this is exactly what I want. But not to pay a shop 2200$ to throw it on. What did this cost for piping bending and raving?

I don't think they bent anything. It looks like they got mandrel bent pieces and then just chopped and welded. Nice fit but it looks pretty darn close to the body in places so I bet it rattles. Also, the one tailpipe probably melted the bumper pretty quickly.

Cool system, I'll always love flowmasters no matter what the naysayers say.

I know how old this thread is but it's getting a bump anyway. This ^^^^^ made me laugh out loud. And I think this is the way I am going to run my exhaust this spring. Want true dual 40's to go with my headers, but I know there isn't really much room for them. This looks like the best option I have seen yet.

Look into the 10 series also the case is about half the size and still gives it that flow master sound. Basically my set up is the same but with the smaller race style flow masters.

Yeah, I know a lot of people run the 10's but I think that's just going to be too loud. Not looking to make it too crazy. 40's with no cats and headers will be plenty. How would you rate your system volume wise?

It's relatively quiet compared to lot of off road Y set ups. I have no cats as well. Having mufflers towards the rear of the car eliminate a lot of drone in the interior. I have no problem having a conversation when going down the road. Also the X pipe tones it down quite a bit by canceling some sound waves out. It's deep you def get that flow master chambered sound your after. My old set up was the obnoxious Slp LM and ORY and I would say that it cut the decibels in half when I installed the TDs. The idel is really nice and deep also. I might have time over spring break to take a video and let you hear for yourself.

Yeah I'd be interested to know. Hard to gauge volume through a video clip. Tone, sound... yes. I just don't want the thing to be obnoxious. I want some volume, dont get me wrong. Just not anything crazy where it sounds like I hacked the mufflers off of the car.

No redneck or mullet comments on my car promise it sounds good clean. You wouldn't be disappointed, has no hacked up sound quality to be heard of. Not sure If you saw this video yet (this isn't my car) but its dumped 10s with heads + cam. Over the axles sounds slightly cleaner in my opinion. Similar tone to my set up minus the heads/Cam, as you probably already know H/C adds a little rasp. Still pulling parts together at the moment for a H/C/Fast build.

That's how long it took to convert the video file. It just now finished.

See, I was doing it with an 8 year old computer (which is now a 16 year old computer).
