Default CME exhaust problems

Has anyone had problems with either aftermarket or the stock CME exhaust tips (ones in the middle)?? I have some on the way, and someone told me that they make funny noises, or that the ground effect piece comes off, but I am mostly worried about the exhaust.....please let me know

I don't have any of those problems, let alone any problems. I have never heard of such.

No problems with mine! IMHO it's the best looking exhaust system for Camaro's. Very clean and exotic looking and I've gotten many compliments even from a few stang owners! My dyno operator had never seen a CME before and he commented that it was slicker than snot!

I told him mine used to ring like a bell at
a certain exhaust note (RPM) but polishing
off the internal casting roughness made it
a lot less noticeable. You guys don't hear
it on yours?
