I had a ory/borla setup...it was okay. I now have an x pipe with magnaflow 4x9s dumped, and I am trying to sell this system to go back to a y pipe setup. Don't get me wrong, it sounds awesome outside of the car, but it's just too loud and rumbly for me inside. I don't scrape either that much and I am lowered. It's all in how much effort you put into tucking it up there.

i think the flow of a Y or X will have a lot to do with the design where it merges. thats my opinion anyways.

Y pipe with a good flowing cat back and a electric cut out is the best set up IMO for lowered cars that can't do TD's at least.

If you want the best sound possible, go Td's. But only if you don't mind being a little loud.

With ory and tds, both set ups had my lowest point being close to the driver side header a little past were it connects to the ory or x-pipe. As long as you don't have a huge torque arm, you can easily tuck some mufflers up there with the persuasion of a bfh.
