Question about coating headers, need quick answer
Question about coating headers, need quick answer Is it possible to to coat headers yourself and is it worth it. There is a guy selling non coated pacesetters for $200. He says they are like new with brand new gm gaskets. What do you think. Worth it or not.
Its all in the prep. You can make them look pretty decent, but in the long run I don't think the average paint job will be as durable as buying the "armor" coated headers. If looks aren't important or the car doesn't see rain or other bad weather go for it.

a professional coating over "you" coating it is always better.... and will always last longer... unless yer a professional... but obviously you arnt n thats y yer here... like the last guy said u can spray em up nicely but once the heat gets ahole of them thats what makes the decision... and im sure what they spray them with is better than out of a can
