Will ported throttle body require tune?
Nope it will not require a tune, the more incoming air will be picked up by the MAF and the computer will add the needed fuel. Although if you havent had a tune ever its definitely something that will increase all around performance and drivablilty. Tim

I actually sold off the rest of my stock and really dont port anymore, i ocassionally sell them on ebay but check out new era, they do a great job as well and im sure they will help you out, and they have killer pricing on alot of items. By the way new era i will be ordering an eboost2 soon

Verdad Gallardo Not to hijack the thread but i always just ported in my spare time and its always really easy to port in the summer especailly since i port outside, Its really hard to port during the winter LOL so in the spring and fall its hard to find nice days, its just something i do on the side so as next summer comes around i might sponsor again. And its a dirty job as well. I mean i wear a full jump suit and resparator as well, and it takes time from the family and everything too, so there are some reasons.
I love helping people mod there car though, thats the one thing thats great is peoples reactions and comments. And i know alot of my business was becasue of the fact i allowed people to do core charges and recieve the new one first so there is no down time and for people who DD their cars. I would love to still be a sponsor but for the money i put out a month is equal to about the profits of 4 tb's so i would have to sell at least 4 a moth to break even, any more would be profit. So in the fall if i only usually do 2 maybe 3 if that a weekend thats only about 8 a month so i wouldnt profit much. Instead i could sell 2 on ebay a month and profit the same.
