Default Installed Katech tensioner! (New Pics) !chirp mod
Not a huge deal but I spent double what a factory piece would cost in exchange for what I think will be a (quiet) lifetime unit. It does look nicer but...NO MORE CHIRPING!!

I've included a before and after pic. Wish I had thought to record a before and after vid. I recommend this mod - the !chirp mod. Anyway...

EDIT: Shoot, would someone host these for me so you can see them full size?

Something up front on mine chirps for alittle while on start up on those really cold mornings. I might have to look into this...

Bought one a few months ago, nice piece. Fixed my belt throwing off at 6800 rpm on the road at night and walking back to find the belt and putting it back on while being parked on the side of the road issue

I also went kateck, to fix my belt walking off of the pulley problem!

is the Katech tensioner spring loaded like stock or do you have to put tension on it and tighten it down.
