Just make sure you wrap your starter and or your headers.. i've replaced 2 starters already due to the heat from the headers.. finally learned my lesson and wrapped it up!!

well today i went to the second exhaust shop that i thought could do my pipes, and they said i would have clearance issues and the pipes would be too close to the fuel lines and the heat would cause vapor lock, and if i did it dumped, it would get annoying and vibrate the whole interior, and the pipes get so hot where they're close to the floorboard it would burn the carpet and wouldn't do it i've got one more place near me that i know to go to. wish me luck lol

I bought the ARP header studs and it was 100% worth it imo. Makes it easier to install the headers because you can rest the headers on the stud and I won't have no nasty rusty bolts on my stainless steel headers.

well i finally found a pipe shop willing to run my h-pipe so i ordered my flowmaster single chambers and the monday after next their gonna set me up. i decided just to run my duals from the cats back for now and wait and save up for some kooks stainless headers and put them in and take out my cats sometime around the beginning of next year. i forgot to ask when they looked at my car today if they did mandrel bending, but i recall seeing a lot of "non-mandrel bent" piping laying around the shop. if it turns out that they dont do mandrel bends, should i hold off and find a shop that does? i hope they do, cuz i've just about ran out of local shops
