Having belt problems again

Having belt problems again Not too long ago, I had a problem with my serpentine belt slipping halfway off the tensioner pulley. I bought a new belt and I thought it was fine again.
Then just last night, I was messing around with a turbo VW on the highway. I downshifted to 3rd and nailed it, when a few seconds later I noticed my power steering was gone and my check gauges light came on. Sure enough, the belt flew right off.
How should I troubleshoot this? Should I replace the tensioner? the idler pulley? I also have heard about the "larry" pulley that has a lip. Which pulley does this replace and where can i buy one?

Re: Having belt problems again I'm having the same problem but I haven't replaced anything yet. The 'Larry' pulley is currently out-of-stock. I didn't order one yet. I think the cost is ~$50, I didn't jot that down.

Re: Having belt problems again I HAD the same problem. After installing a new tensioner pulley with higher ridges it never happened again. I guess I have the "larry pulley"?!?! I bought the pulley only and it is from ASP. I ordered from Thunder Racing.

I called ASP direct and they are out of them for about a week. This damn thing costs $65
