PVC system

Has anybody bought this new style pvc valve just for preventative maintenance since it is a new gm design? It's cheap and obviously easy as heck to replace. So is it worth it?

PCV valve

i replaced mine a couple of months ago just because many here suggested it. It was easy to do and like you said it was cheap. I figured a new design could only help over the old design. Also, i went to the dealership and got the item.
