Tell me EVERYTHING i need to know about FLP
I was looking at these headers and they seem like a good deal against the Kooks headers. The only question I have is it says I still need 02 sims even though it has a catted Y. I also need to know about ground clearance, any underbody shots of the system would be great, the sportlines arent helping me out in the header category. Also a link to their site would be great, cant find it on google.

FLP (Finish Line Performance) is a sponsor so look to the right in the list of sponsors and click.
There are no bungs for post-cat O2 sensors, thus the need for O2 simms. Plus the ability to swap cats to off-rode pipe would require the simms. So might as well put them on all the time. Ground clearance is good and the performance increase was also very nice.
Good luck in deciding which header. Call FLP and talk to Mitch, he can answer any of your questions.

Ok, where are the 02 sims located on the line of the system, and is there already a spot machined to which they can be easily connected.

You just plug them into the O2 sensor connectors. I just used some plastic tie-wraps to tie them to the nearest structure.

besides these minor issues, they are OK. ground cearence is OK but I would rather have no banging ...drives me crazy..
mine are newer so they HAVE NOT resolved the earlier issues as someone here claims....

From what I have seen, FLPs and Kooks are very camparible in price. The fit on the Kooks is great. No banging or grinding and plenty of room for oil changes.
I have flp,s on my car Ive changed the oil with no crowbar, there was nothing wrong with my oil filter, the finish is fine and I have no issues with banging and Im satisfied.
I like mine. The only thing I recommend is to take your time installing them.Don't tighten the Headers all the way till you have the Y-pipe installed and move as needed for clearence.
I have the FLP's, mine have coating issues, cause I was one of the first customers to buy them...they offered to take care of me no problem...but I haven't yet, because I need my car up and running....
No oil change problems, had a banging problem, but I fixed that..
Overall, I think they have the best headers around...

Yea, Ive made my decision on getting the FLP. SlowHawk has sent me alot of vids/pics of his install and they hang nice and look killer. Now if anyone knows where the best place to get them, that would be great.

I installed my FLP's last night and had no fitment problems. The drivers side went in from the top and the passenger side went in from the bottom. The car has to be very high to get the passenger side in. They were VERY easy to install and fit perfectly. Mine don't bang the floor anywhere.. You have to make sure you adjust the Y pipe correctly. I couldn't believe the way they fit.
I could not believe the way mine did not fit; I even took the headers of and re-installed them when I did my H?C swap...
I ended up creating three pieces of rolled up aluminum screening and clamped them to the y-pipe where it was banging...
Manufacturor refused to refund my money so BEWARE with these!

They sent me the wrong headers (98-99 style), and when I called to arrange replacement he first flames the heck out of me thinking I was the one posting one here about it (that was someone else that ordered '98-'99 style headers and got '01+), than made me take photos and prove that they were wrong. Sponsor or not their customer service sucks IMO.
